As you live this life you may think you know many things. But is it also not just as important to be aware of what you do not know? For instance, you find yourself exploring in unknown territory looking for something. You see a rock formation just ahead and there is a gap at the bottom where the something you are searching to find might be. Before you stick your hand into the gap to feel under the rock, is it important to be aware that you do not know what else might be under there, out of sight? Or, can you afford to rely on the knowledge that what you seek might be there and insert your hand into darkness? Many a person has been bitten by a poisonous snake in just that way. This simple illustration has application in so many circumstances that you will encounter on life’s way.
